QUESTIONS WE HEAR
Customs clearance FAQs
Can Catalyst arrange customs clearance for both imports and exports?
We can review and coordinate import and export customs requirements in Pakistan, subject to the shipment, location and availability of appropriately authorized clearance partners.
Which documents are required for clearance?
A commercial invoice, packing list and applicable transport document are commonly required. Additional documents depend on the goods, trade transaction, commodity controls and relevant agency requirements.
Can you calculate my customs duty and taxes?
We can discuss a preliminary, non-binding estimate after reviewing the commodity, HS/PCT classification, customs value and applicable tariff. Final assessment and payment obligations are determined under the law and by the authorities.
Do you assist with Pakistan Single Window (PSW) and WeBOC processes?
We can coordinate the information and documentation required for applicable electronic declaration workflows. Formal submissions must be made by users authorized for the relevant transaction.
How long does customs clearance take?
Timing varies with document completeness, inspection selection, payment, permits and official processing. We do not guarantee a fixed release time.
Can you help when goods are held or documents are queried?
Tell us the customs station, commodity, current status and any non-sensitive description of the query. The team can review whether coordination support is available.
